Exhibition Thesis

America's railroads, electric grid, refrigeration network, and industrial infrastructure were built in part by Black inventors who were systematically denied credit, compensation, and commercial benefit from their own work.

The 50,000 names them. Values what was taken. And makes the case that culture is an asset class — and that what was stolen can be documented, valued, and reclaimed.

What the Terminal does: The BLK:INV Terminal is the first live system-of-record for Black American IP, 1870–1940. It runs CPRS v2.0 — the Cultural Property Rights Standard — calculating Lost Commercial Value (LCV) across 50,247 patents in real time. Visitors search inventors by name, state, category, and year. Every record is verifiable. The $293T figure is not symbolic. It is a financial instrument.

Touring model: MADE CX is permanent steward. All institutional engagement is licensing-based. The Terminal is not for sale.
